Before I left office yesterday, I already set (hopefully) most of important things need to be taken care of while I am away for the whole week.
- Synched my accounts with colleagues. What’s the progress, what’s my last email about, etc.
- Sent out emails to my clients cc-ing my back up colleagues.
- Following up on JIRA tickets for crucial problems.
- Sent out holiday email to Singapore colleagues so at least they know where am I going.
And right before I finished off everything, my team lead came and said this,
Don’t open your email. We will take care of everything.
SERIOUSLY, DO NOT OPEN YOUR EMAIL.
